What a long, strange trip it has been...

It is amazing what being a newlywed, working your tail off for a job (that you will eventually lose) and trying to get one's body in shape will do for one's creativity. Gone. Shot. Not much to write about. Or at least, not much to write about that one would like to share over the internet, where nothing goes away.

Well, this week I began a new job and I think I'm going to like it. It feeds my desire to be helpful to those who are seeking guidance. It wets my appetite for an outlet for my creative spirit. I believe I have a job that has purpose again, beyond just survival. Most of all, I will be free to be myself, completely and holistically, while being allowed to grow without fear of reprisal at every turn.

To quote Frank Costanza: "I feel like a phoenix, rising from Arizona!"*

In case anyone is reading, this blog is changing direction from this point forward. I begin a new chapter in what I hope is a very lush period of creativity in the jungle of my life. I hope to have much to share, if not for others to read, than for my own sake and for the sake of the written word.
